It all starts in the Great Saiyaman Saga when Gohan is 16 and goes to Orange Star Highschool. He dresses up in a disguise and becomes a towns hero. He calls himself the Great Saiyaman. At first he wears a helmet and then Videl makes fun of him and says he has a trash can on his head so he changes and puts sunglasses a towel type thing over his hair. This happens when Goku comes back for the day and they start the World Tournament. Later on, Videl and Sharpner (a student in Gohans class) find out who he is and Gohan throws away the disguise, realizing that it's useless.
